剧情简介
天才少年理查德（迈尔斯·特勒 Miles Teller 饰）凭借物体传送装置的发明得到正研究量子门的富兰克林•斯通的赏识，他将理查德招至麾下，通过和维克多（托比·凯贝尔 Toby Kebbell 饰）、约翰尼（迈克尔·B·乔丹 Michael B. Jordan 饰）、苏珊（凯特·玛拉 Kate Mara 饰）等才华横溢的青年们的通力合作，量子门的研究终于取得突破性进展。不久之后，不甘成果被政府攫取的年轻人们叫上理查德的朋友本（杰米·贝尔 Jamie Bell 饰），偷偷潜入那个未知的世界探险，谁知却被神秘的能量所感染。在此之后，他们拥有了身体伸缩、控制火焰、岩石化以及隐形等能力。 为了能过回复从前的样子，年轻人们再次走向量子门，而对面的世界还有一个当初被丢下的同伴等待着他们……
